In 2009, award-winning filmmaker, Bryan Bangerter created a filmmakers club called the Guerilla Film Society (GFS), in order to empower fellow students/filmmakers with the proper skills, knowledge, and resources to make their own independent projects. In that same year, the club went on to create the festival-award winning short film She Sang, She Directed.

As Bryan and the rest of the original-founding members of GFS graduated and continued on with life, the club entrusted their tradition to newcomer, Andrew Norbeck. He has recently teamed up with Taylor Miller, and together, they are now continuing in building the legacy of the Guerilla Film Society at Point Loma Nazarene University.
